Our Programs
TVTC is an all inclusive endurance training club. Whether you are new to the multisport lifestyle, have done many triathlons, you have 4 or 20 hours a week to train, you want to complete an Ironman or just want to get movin', TVTC has a program for you. We offer a team membership as well as structured, individually based training programs while still being a part of the group!
TVTC has 4 distinct programs that will accommodate everyone:
- Year-Round Club1
- Summer High School Group
- Ironman - For Ironman distances, register for the Membership Package of your choice, depending on how much coaching you need or wish to receive. For those new to Ironman, we recommend the Team or Individual Membership for at least three months.
- Private Lessons
1 Our training year runs February through January
New to the multi-sport lifestyle?
We recommend the Team Membership for anyone new to the sport, or doing a new race distance for a team/coach supported race. For example, you are training for Ironman Coeur d'Alene as your first Ironman. If you've already completed a bunch of tris, and need to understand how to do an Ironman, since you are training for a team event, you will receive all the education and training calendars you need with this comprehensive plan for team events.
We recommend the Personal Membership for anyone that knows individual attention is what they need to stay on task, wants to achieve specific or new race goals, and/or is training for a new race distance for a race we are not doing as a team. For example, you are training for a half Ironman like Vineman or TBF, or an Ironman other than Coeur d'Alene, like Vineman Full, or Ironman Canada. You need an individual training calendar based on your race date, and your strengths and areas for improvement.
Coached Workouts
Attend coached practices as much as possible. Coached practices are the place where we present all the information on form and fitness, and you can ask questions. At Coached workouts, we are here to teach and support you. We provide maps for coached rides and runs, workouts for swims, bikes, runs, and bricks, and SAG support where necessary. Also, it is easier and more fun to work out with people!
Training Calendar
With your Team or Personal Membership, receive a comprehensive Monthly Training Calendar. Including On Your Own (OYO) workouts for the days you are not with the team. (click image for a larger view)
Weekly Email
Receive our Weekly Emails (with your Team or Personal Membership) with the focus for the week, relevant updates about the team, and education on gear, nutrition, transitions, phases of the season, setting patterns, and other topics relevant to the multi-sport lifestyle. From February through October, the Weekly Emails also include detailed swim workouts for every level of swimmer.
