TVTC Makes Impression on Folsom & Coach Aubrey Podiums, Again!!

TVTC members achieved new heights as athletes and as people August 13 and 14 at the Folsom 66, Folsom Sprint and Folsom Olympic distance triathlons.
Three newer TVTC members, Ryan, Pia and Michelle, each completed their longest triathlons!
Ryan, only competing in triathlon since March of this year, completed the Folsom 66, his first long course triathlon, with PRs in all three individual disciplines. He showed substantial improvement in his swim leg, with confidence and time.
Pia and Michelle each completed their first Olympic distance triathlon, and felt great across the finish line! Each have only trained with TVTC since July, and commented that their training with TVTC helped their confidence that they could not only complete the distance, but also taught them they could enjoy it!
Coach Aubrey commented, "The smiles at the finish were the best part! I'm so proud of my athletes!"
No slacker herself, our youngest but toughest coach, Coach Aubrey, made her third podium appearance in two seasons, placing third in her age group and 11th overall in the Folsom Sprint Triathlon on Saturday. She celebrated her finish with a cartwheel after crossing the line, and a plank on the podium. Way to represent!
